Jonathan's approach to portraits is to turn up at a location prior to the shoot in order to find the most inspiring backdrops. He arrives well-equipped with lighting to suit the most challenging conditions, before getting to know the sitter in the allotted time. His photos have a formal yet contemporary structure, while his temperament encourages the sitter's character to shine.
